Christmas Rose by Jb-612 Christmas Rose by Jb-612
Merry Christmas everyone! Or Happy Hanukkah! Or Happy Whatever you're celebrating!
This is my Christmas card that I'm sending out this year: I'm glad I actually got it done! It's not flawless, but it's definitely good enough: I put a lot of work into the linework, so I'm pretty pleased (that's why it's traditional instead of digital, btw: the linework took me longer). I've never really put the work into an Art Nouveau piece before, so it's sortof exciting.
Although the fabric almost made me die. A lot.
Also, those are Christmas roses in the top panels. Just so you know. They have a cute legend that goes along with them...google it.
Edit: The model I used for this is the lovely faestock. Check her stock out, it's pretty fabulous stuff.

Yep! Just for a bit though. I don't think I can handle all of that decoration on a regular basis.

So pretty! I'm feeling strangely proud that you went to all the trouble on that fabric, it looks really good. I really like the fir branches. Oh art nouveau, how I love you so.

haha... back to chemistry...
